Nanoscience center in works

Abstract:
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the state university's Albany NanoTech and Benet Laboratories--a weaponry research and development lab at the Watervliet Arsenal--plan to collaborate as the Center for Nanomaterials & Nanocoatings. "The goal is to be able to rapidly infuse nanotechnology into the defense industry," said Robert Dillon, chief scientist at Benet Laboratories and director of the Center for Nanomaterials.
