Toshiba, Sony Plan 65-nm Chip for 2005
Abstract:
Toshiba and Sony say their collaboration to produce a 65-nanometer chip could put them ahead of other firms in the race to develop smaller, more powerful semiconductors . One of the possible applications for the new chip could be Sony's PlayStation, which the company envisions as a complete home entertainment/information conduit to the Internet.
