Expect big things from nanotech

Abstract:
Nanotechnology, the building of devices and materials from single molecules or even single atoms, is the "next big thing" in science, according to MK Shimon Peres. The Hebrew University feels the same as the Labor Party's senior statesman, and has invested $5 million in state-of-the-art equipment for the new Unit for Nanoscopic Characterization recently opened at its Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
