Hitachi group acquires Nanovia
Abstract:
A Hitachi Ltd. business unit has acquired NanoVia LP, a Londonderry, N.H.-based maker of cutting tools for microstructures. Hitachi will use NanoVia's facilities for ongoing research and development. Lizotte said he and Ohar have signed on for two years as principal development engineers to oversee technology transfer and commercialization. They also plan to launch a nanotech-related, product-oriented business early next year, he said.
