Novel Nanowire Process Developed
Abstract:
A team of UC Berkeley researchers has developed a new technique to create monolayers of nanowires on which many forms of chemistry can be performed, offering many possible future applications in nanotechnology.
"The most important thing right now is that this technique allows us to do large-scale assembly of wires," said UC Berkeley chemistry professor Peidong Yang, who is also a chemist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. (more on earlier article)
