FEI emphasizes nanotech at headquarters grand opening
Abstract:
At formal grand opening ceremonies for FEI Co.'s new Hillsboro headquarters last week, CEO Vahé Sarkissian laid great emphasis on the company's leadership in enabling nanotechnology research and development, and its deep roots in Oregon. Sarkissian, who is also chairman of FEI, said that although FEI manufactures some of its tools in Brno, Czech Republic, the company's "top-of-the-line" equipment will continue to be manufactured in Hillsboro.
