Civic leaders report progress on 'road map' for growth

Abstract:
The players involved in a major economic development campaign aimed at transforming the Philadelphia region into a major knowledge-industry center by 2010 gave an update on Thursday on progress being made toward that goal. Take one of the major areas of concentration -- nanotechnology. It's a small, but big, science that applies to a gamut of sectors including industrial, software and biotechnology.
