A small science with enormous possibilities
Abstract:
Cellphones were once heavy, brick-like objects that took up too much space in handbags and briefcases. Now they are as tiny as matchboxes. In part this is due to nanotechnology. A few years from now, this relatively new arm of science and technology could have us using computers, that now occupy entire desks in offices and homes across South Africa, that would be comparably small and far more powerful than we can imagine.
