Don't believe the nanotechnology scare stories

Abstract:
Caroline Lucas advocates restricting the development of nanotechnology and the use of nanoparticles. But nanotechnology does not represent a technological paradigm shift. It is important to realise that, despite the usual scaremongering and hype, nanotechnology does not lie outside the bounds of existing legislation or scientific understanding.
