City, county study options to keep plant running after Sony leaves
Abstract:
Under the emerging proposal for the Sony plant, the University of Texas at San Antonio and Southwest Research Institute, a not-for-profit research organization, would form a partnership. They would use some of the facility's clean rooms and equipment for research into nanotechnology, or the making of microscopic mechanical and electrical devices.
