Nanowire comb emits in the UV
Abstract: Scientists have fabricated an ultraviolet laser array from zinc-oxide nanowires The team from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory say its comb-shaped structure may find uses in nanometer electromechanical systems (NEMS).
