FEI Opens Expanded Manufacturing Facility in Czech Republic

Abstract:
FEI Company on February 27 opened its new, 8,600-square-meter (approx. 92,000-square-foot) site in Brno, The Czech Republic. This new facility replaces FEI's former building in Brno and features extensive space for expanded production, select research and development capabilities, and enhanced field service and support functions, the company said in a statement this week. The opening of the new location is part of FEI's overall cost-improvement and operations efficiency program, the company stated.
