The National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) will hold a webinar on "What We Know about NanoEHS: Nanoinformatics and Modeling" on January 31, 2022. See https://www.zoomgov.com/webinar/register/WN_aC7HoF6gTCqKdI7fm4WJ9A NNI states that nanoinformatics and modeling support and crosscut all areas of assessments of the environmental, health, and safety aspects of nanomaterials (nanoEHS). The expert panel will explore how progress in nanoinformatics and modeling has impacted the safe and responsible development of nanotechnology. The panel will be moderated by Todd Luxton, Chemist, Office of Research and Development, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and will include:
- Andrea Haase, Unit Head, Fibre and Nanotoxicology, Department of Chemical and Product Safety, German Institute of Risk Assessment (BfR);
- Stacey Harper, Professor, Oregon State University;
- Fred Klaessig, Manager, Pennsylvania Bio Nano Systems; and
- Robert Rallo, Division Director, Advanced Computing, Mathematics, and Data Division, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
